Your new MaraThongs may have a thin release agent from manufacturing, which can make them feel a little slippery at first. For best grip, we recommend gently brushing them with clear water before their first use. This will wash away the agent and ensure a secure feel.

MaraThongs are designed for all your sunny adventures: running, walking, and relaxing.

However, when not being worn, avoid exposing them to extreme heat, as EVA can warp or shrink.

To protect them:
– Don’t leave them on hot surfaces (like car dashboards or pavement).
– Keep them shaded or covered at the beach or pool.
– Store in a cool place when not in use.

• Removing Tags: When removing any tags, please use scissors carefully. Avoid pulling hard, as this can damage the product.

• Wearing: While durable, avoid pulling hard on the straps when putting them on. Handle with care, especially around sharp objects.

Building Up Strength for Specialized Use: While capable of running and walking, we strongly recommend that consumers build up a basic level of foot strength and gradually get accustomed to this specialized footwear before attempting long-distance runs.

Starting Out: For activities beyond casual wear, we suggest starting with shorter distances (e.g., 2 km). Pairing them with two-toe or five-toe socks initially can also aid in adaptation. Alternatively, users can begin by wearing them for casual, everyday activities to get a feel for them.
