Our Story: The MaraThongs Journey
As a runner in Australia, I often struggled with hot, heavy shoes and soggy socks, especially in our unique climate. My family and I embrace the Australian outdoor lifestyle – from runs and walks to beach days and quick trips to the shops – and we constantly sought footwear that could keep up without the fuss.
My discovery of B&M Caiman Y-Sandals during an overseas trip changed everything. Intrigued by their reputation among serious runners in Asia, I tried them. My feet felt lighter, cooler, and surprisingly supported. People often stopped us, amazed to see us moving effortlessly in thongs, asking where we got them.
That's when MaraThongs was born. Seeing how these Y-sandals transformed our active lives, we decided to bring this game-changing footwear exclusively to Australia.
